About Fellowship Church Woodbury

We refer to ourselves as “The Fellowship ” because we began as six families who came together once a week for food, fun, and fellowship. Our purpose is to glorify God with our lives and encourage each other in the Faith.

Fellowship Church is a multicultural, Christ centered, community focused, nonjudgmental church in Woodbury, MN. We say, come as you are, but you wonʼt stay as you are! Biblical fellowship is not just hanging out with people that you have something in common. But, biblical fellowship is purpose-driven friendship. Acts 2.42 says,” And they continued steadfastly in the apostlesʼ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.” The purpose of The Fellowship is to focus on biblical teaching, praying for each other and to connect with other believers for the expanding of the Kingdom of God. We believe that the Kingdom of God is within armʼs reach. We want to close the gap between man and His creator, God. Our Fellowship focuses on the Lordship of Jesus Christ and our obligation to share the love of Christ with our community.

VISION STATEMENT
“We exist to be a community where all people are welcome to fellowship as their lives are being transformed by the Gospel of Jesus Christ.”

THE SPIRIT OF THE FELLOWSHIP
“And they continued steadfastly in the apostlesʼ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.” Acts 2:42

THE APOSTOLIC MANIFESTO
The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is upon me, for the LORD has anointed me to bring good news to the poor. He has sent me to comfort the brokenhearted and to proclaim that captives will be released and prisoners will be freed. Isaiah 61:1

TWO BIBLICAL FOUNDATIONS FOR FELLOWSHIP CHURCH

The Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20) “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen

The Great Commandment (Matthew 22.39) “…You shall love your neighbor as yourself” This commission and commandment is the foundation for the organizational structure of Fellowship Church. All church activities will tie directly to either the Great Commission or the Great Commandment.
